Bennedict House is my most personal project to date—my own home—completed in 2024. Every room reflects the design influences I love most: the clean simplicity of mid-century modern style paired with the glamour and drama of art-deco details. The result is a space that feels warm, curated, and unmistakably mine.
Parlor (Piano & Bar Room)
The parlor is a deeply immersive, color-drenched retreat wrapped in “green-black.” Dark walnut millwork and brass accents add richness and glow, creating a moody backdrop for the room’s centerpiece: a baby grand piano. Designed for slow evenings and good company, it’s the ideal spot to unwind with a gin martini and let the day fade away.
Living Room
At the heart of the living room is a custom brick fireplace—a modern interpretation of classic mid-century design. The brick is laid in a stack-bond pattern, a hallmark of the era, while the linear firebox brings sleek, contemporary warmth. It’s a space designed for grounding, gathering, and everyday living.
Kitchen
The kitchen combines the timeless beauty of walnut cabinetry with the crisp contrast of white quartz countertops. Clean lines, warm tones, and balanced materials create a functional and inviting workspace that feels both modern and enduring.
Dining Room
Anchored by a walnut dining table, the dining room blends sculptural statement pieces with personal touches. A large piece of artwork commands attention, and a striking T-rex skull adds an unexpected playfulness and sense of discovery.
